Very Proud Indeed

In the fuss of the week, despite being caught up in working on projects, going to work, and writing papers that did not have to be written, I stumbled upon the video tour of "The Graveyard Book" read in it's entirety by the author himself: Neil Gaiman.

Now I had not read a book in quite some time, as I found myself too busy to sit down and read though I desperately wanted to. I was jumping for joy when I found that the whole book had been recorded and put online. Background noise helps when I am doing homework, but this time I took breaks to listen to the chapters one by one, and I eventually fell asleep to the lulling voice of Neil describing the boy named Nobody Owens at the age of ten.

My yearning to read is back in full force, and this coming Friday(pay day) I am planning to spend most of it on my car, and two 'new' books from Recycled Books.

This summer is going to be amazing because not only will I have passed all of my classes with no less than B's(Hopefully), but I will be reading as much as I can of whatever I can get my hands on.

A project I am going to do for myself on facebook is to have a gallery of images of the books I own and books I am currently reading. This way I can keep track of everything and to show people exactly how much I can read when given the chance.

The current series I will be working my way into will be something along the lines of:

The complete works of Edgar A. Poe(Despite having this I have never actually read many of his works. Shame on me)
Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles (Currently Memnoch the Devil)
Heather Brewer's The Chronicles of Vladimir Todd (Yes more vampires)
Anything and everything by Carol Berg
Anything and everything by Neil Gaiman

I might even attempt at writing again, though I will tell you of what or when I will be posting such things. It is a mystery even to myself, but I am looking forward to uncovering it.

Flailing

Running around with my mental arms flailing.

Already diving headfirst into Stage Management for a show that does not open until the end of September.

Auditions for Virginia Woolf are this Friday @ 2 until 6pm. Sign up sheet is on the callback board. :)

Also doing rehearsals for my acting debut on May 3rd. Limited seating. :/

Work after that.

Research after that.

And this is just today. Oo

Almost Lazy Day

Testing blog app from my phone.

Also went and got lease applications turned in, finished my research paper which I am proud to turn in. 19th cent London ftw.

Next is laundry, knitting, and another research project. Oh, and learning lines for Quickies in the Kitchen. :D busy/steady day ahead of me.

My Arm Is Complete Again

Sorry things have been deader than ever...my motivation to work on things is slowly coming back. :) I've been busy with Godspell, which is currently being performed at the UNT Theatre. http://www.facebook.com/?sk=events#!/event.php?eid=138290246241262 I highly suggest checking it out! Tickets are selling fast!

Anyways, I've been sick lately as well thanks to the crazy Texas weather going from the 70s to the 30s to the 90s. >< Strep throat twice within two months of each other is NOT fun. :(

I'll be working on two school projects too. 1) Costume design for Camelot. 2) Lighting design for the barber shop in Sweeney Todd. :D I'm not supposed to do renderings for the second one, but screw it I'll do that for fun. Looking forward to getting the script in the mail in the next few days.

So yeah...Just gonna see where things go from here.
